If you haven't already noticed the tank acts as a room divider between our dining room and living room.
One of my favourite pieces, my Rainbow Montipora up close and personal. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3398/...fbbdd6af_o.jpg and the "Superman" Montipora.. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3660/...e10f61d6_o.jpg |

Very nice! Is your frag shelf thing a DIY item or can you purchase those sort of things?

I've had two iterations of this 90 gallon reef (moved it twice now), and I think my 2nd most favourite part about a pen style is the easy accessibility to all three sides for cleaning purposes. The downside is that you have to keep all three sides clean  You can actually view it on all 4 sides but I eventually gave up cleaning the West side of it where the overflow box sits. Most favourite feature is as you said, it allows you to cram stuff in on all four sides. I guess it is more of an island than a peninsula :-)
I am seriously thinking about starting a tank build thread for a potential new tank. Where the 90 gallon sits it is about 30 inches away from the wall so I could in theory put a new tank in its place that is a good 2 feet longer. What I'm concerned about is whether or not the floor would hold such a beast. I need to research that before I'd go forward... |

Beautiful tank, and AMAZING photos! Thanks for sharing!
|
Great looking tank. I hope you find room for all those frags coming in tomorrow!
|
Thanks :-) ya.. still trying to figure out where those frags are going to go. Good thing the shipment got delayed until Friday!
Scarlet, my favouritest fish. I have yet to see her nip at any polyps or clams. In fact, I think she may be helping me with with my nudi issues. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3623/...cc0060.jpg?v=0 http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2458/...22b5b3.jpg?v=0 The Watchman. Geez man! I see a few from me that are growing pretty well for you. Good stuff!
|
Holy WOW!
Love the tank but boy are you going to have some tough decisions down the road as it fills up. It'll happen fast! And stellar photos! |

Fooser: Ya, all my frags are doing great and growing well. 10K halides will do that hehe! (and I guess all the other stuff too, phosban, fuge, water changes, etc). Once the frags grow out a bit I'm going to swap out the 10Ks for 14Ks. |
Since I cleaned the tank this evening I decided to snap some pictures.
