What products are we missing?

Hey all,

You know, I've often wondered what products we might be overlooking that you guys are dieing for us to have.

So, what products are you Canreefer's looking for or want us to carry/support?

I'm not making promises! lol. Just curious.

Jeff

Sebae again 10-02-2008 12:10 AM

Some people might be interested in Viper lights especially if they could see one on display. I know it's a lot of work but I think there may be some things you have in stock but are not on your website. Same for fish pics even if they aren't store photos, would be helpful for identification. Not complaining, just a suggestion.

silverplanet 10-02-2008 12:30 AM

I have only ordered once online from you and will again in the future. I would like to see some more types of lights on the website and maybe some more aio tanks. selection and fair prices will keep me buying from you.

Great idea to seek some feedback from customers on this!

ESV B-Ionic

Higher quality T5 fixtures - either ATI Powermodule or Sfiligoi Mini Stealth (someone in Canada has to start regularly stocking a 24" 6 bulb T5 fixture eventually - you'd likely see a lot more customers starting up smaller, but high end tanks in smaller condos downtown if they could find something adequate and, um, not ugly like the Tek lights)

Premium Maxi-Jets (we've already spoken about this :) )

Now that you're selling some fancy colored polyethylene tubing you might as well sell some quick connect/compression fittings such as John Guest fittings

wayner 10-06-2008 12:45 AM

ESV B-Ionic for my little tank

So the fact that they have the cheapest prices anywhere isn't reward enough

I beg to differ.
They have chepest prices on some stuff, but that all starts with the supplier and I could name a number of things that are sold at other LFS for cheaper although since this isn't what this thread was for, I won't.

all I can say is that shows a couple of people who don't do their due dilligence.

If you find a lower price somewhere else on any identical dry good we will gladly match that price! J&L Aquatics is an owner hands-on operated business that other stores & businesses try to copy. Remember who the innovators are!

It would be nice if one of our LFS (Vancouver) would supply ProfiLux as it is one of the best controllers available.

It sounds like you are on thier side? I have no complaints with them at all. They are serving us, prices can always go lower.

Nope, I'm on my side
If a business starts offering "free" stuff, the prices on everything in the store have to go up to pay for it

Ryan_Lap 10-06-2008 07:32 PM

Like Marie said....nothings ever free

Canadian 10-06-2008 07:43 PM

I don't feel I need anything from J&L. I'm thrilled to see them seeking customer feedback in an attempt to make the store even better - that's exceptional customer service when you're already on top.

Keep up the great work!

Sure there is: ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, phosphates, problem algae, bothersome hitch-hikers. They're all free.

Another vote for 14K Phoenix 250W DE bulbs and what about Oceans Motions? Why are there no more panworld pumps?
