FS 110 gallon cube
With a move looming I need to down size my hobby for a while.
Gauging interest: 110 gallon cube: 36x36x20" Drilled with 1.5" overflow and 1" return Drilled with 3x 2" closed loop intakes. Closed loop return is a 1" manifold with 6 lock-line nozels with flare ends. Closed loop pump is a sequence dart. (3600 /gph) Lighting available: 2x 36" 39 watt t5's retro fit kit with the good relfectors.(purple fiji) Tank has been used for 4 months and cost $400. Closed loop including Dart and plumbing cost around $500. I would ask $500.00 for the all, and would include my 2x4 stand and 40 gallon sump. The T5 bulbs are just over a month old now and I would ask $85.00 for the kit including the bulbs. |

Why are you selling Danny? I thought you were finishing off your basement? Great deal though wow!
|
Road trip.
Dang, that is a great deal. Too bad though that you feel you have to sell. If I could figure out how to get it to the coast, I would buy this in a heartbeat. Anthony |

Where you moving to now Danny? Still in Calgary?

Well, to tell you the truth, the move is so up in the air I'm not really sure yet. We'll either move out to the Kootenay's like we were planning to last winter, or if we decide to stay in Calgary we'll look for a house in a different area. NOT THE BURBS!
In any case, with the tank in the basement I just didn't give it the attention it required to thrive, so thats why I want to downsize. I want to have the tank upstair where I, and everyone else can see it. I love the concept of cube tanks, and have a lead on a 24x24 tank that should do nicely. I still plan on keeping as many corals as possible and whatever fish can still handle moving into a smaller tank. Hey Anthony, Castlegar is half way you know. |
If you can get it to Castlegar, I could probably get someone to pick it up for me or pick it up myself (looks over shoulder to make sure Irene isn't there with a frying pan to knock my block off).

I would pick it up but driving there....... the gas would kill me :) Hmm........ wondering if it will fit in the back of my Civic HB ;) Cheers, Vic [veng68] |
who ever gets this tank is laughing, what a great deal, all closed loop and ready to go! if only you were in vancouver..
|
Drool... But this would come down to the tank or my wife, I couldn't have both...
A 3X3 cube has been my dream tank ever since I saw Harvey's old cube.... Too bad you have to let it go. |

It is too bad that I'll have to part with this tank, but there will be others. Perhaps a 4x4 or even a 5x5 or a 6x6 cube!!
|
I would just have to tell Irene that it is HER tank:biggrin: if I got it.

I guess I should have thought of putting a link to the tank build for those who want to see the system. Here it is.
