Sam, you never cease to amaze me with your splendorous (is that even a word?) array of coral. My goodness... they are breathtaking. :D

Mak 01-30-2003 05:04 AM

Sam I'll take em if there still available :D .

Samw 01-30-2003 05:22 AM

Thanks Jeanna. :P

Mak, you were the 2nd person to reply so if the first person doesn't take it, you'll get it. I could frag the parent again in a couple of months.

Mak 01-30-2003 05:38 AM

No problem at all :D .

Gee... I hope that persons tank crashes in the next couple'o'days    ... J/K of course  .

8) Hey Mak I hope your tank crashes   I would be interested Sam but am willing to wait. I don't know if I told you but the green star polys are doing excellent. the colt is thriving and the mushrooms, well there doing just fine. I know its a newbie thing but its kind of exciting to see these softies growing in my little reef.

canadawest 01-31-2003 06:12 AM

Hey Sam, how do you frag your polyps? I have a bunch of brown polyps and green centered polyps that I would like to bring to the meeting, but not sure if I can just pull them off the LARGE rocks they are on, or if I have to place rubble beside them and hope for a migration.

Lemme know if I can start yankin, if so I will bring a bunch of them to the meeting on Saturday. (Unmounted of course)

Samw 01-31-2003 06:41 AM

Andrew, those polyps were ready to fall off by themselves due to overpopulation on my small rock. I just use my finger nails to scrape them off as they were already on the edge of the rock.

canadawest 01-31-2003 07:05 AM

Cool, I have several that are in the same predicament in my tank, close to the edges of rocks. I'll try the fingernail removal, can't be much different than Xenia extraction! :o
