You'll get much more responses if you give us your water parameters..
2 weeks ago your bulbs were 2 weeks newer as well - you never said where you moved the coral - up ? down? sideways?

Mik_101 10-14-2007 02:15 AM

honestly what are the chances of it getting better?

Mik_101 10-14-2007 05:23 AM

What can i do to heal him?

Mik_101 10-14-2007 05:24 AM

could it be that the water is to warm? its at 30 degrees.

Jeff_ 10-14-2007 06:00 AM

Yes, that could well be a factor. Give it time and it may recover depending on the tank's conditions.

Mik_101 10-14-2007 07:16 AM

what shuld i do to heal him?
I realy dont want it to die because i payed 60$ fo it.

Hard to tell from the pictures as they are a little blurry, but 30 degree water is too hot. There may be other considerations like not enough flow that could be part of the equation. It may likely be getting too much light too soon. I would move it back to where is was when it was healthy and once it recovers move it up higher slowly. Be sure to cut yourself an insurance frag in case it doesn't make it.

Im pritty sure he has go worse overnight.

I have started to drop the temputre
put him bak were he always was

ps- he has no polyp extentiox.

Jason McK 10-14-2007 06:42 PM

There are a ton of possible problems:
not enough skimming leads to too many nutrients in the water. Causeing browning of the coral and lack or polyp extension (While the coral remains healthy)
Lighting
Flow
Temperature
Chemical warfare with other Corals
fluctuations in water chemistry
And many more

Im going to OA to get my water tested today because i dont belive the readings of my stupid test(aquarium pharmisutical. )
No im just going to wait and see what happens.
I also had my skimmer of for a day so i turned it back on and hope that will help and wich prbably wont because its a seaclon.

Just by the pics, I'd say yes, it's bleaching. If it were me, I'd leave it in the new spot and hope it recovers. It's as likely moving it back will cause even more stress. I have had corals bleach completely white and take 4 months to come back. It can come back if everything else is fine though.
Now, 30C is too hot to run the tank, 25 or 26 is better. That being said, my tank hit 32 every day for an entire summer, and only one species of coral was affected. But ya, get the temp down, and stop moving corals around the tank until you're familiar with what the results can be.

lol i think i found out the hard way what happens when you move corals. Right now the temp. is on the fall I tuned the heater down and put some ice in for cooling.
later im gona take my water in for testing.

I just got back from OA and i saw the same coral and they have the same thing happening. The only difrence is the 1s at OA have polyp extention.
