I get X-files references, adult content, and birth & marriage records from some small city. Hmmm quite the mix.

Catherine.........adult content?????? Is that something we shouldn't talk about or does that just mean you are a content adult?

I get posts on a bunch of aquarium sites and that's about it.

CRAZY story for ya...

Actually the big corporate company my finace works for recently started googling people before they hire them.

This company decided to do this a month back after they hired a office manager/secretary. Apparently one of the employee's for fun was googling everyones name. They entered their secretaries name for fun but were SHOCKED at what they found... Albert Justice Department public bulletin about a court trial, of a lady that was convicted & sentenced for BANK ROBBERY! It even gave a brief description of the event that took place. She handed the bank teller a note, threatened she had a needle, they gave her money. The ink bag poped, the police caught her, she served 30 months!

Anyway, one of the employee's confronted her to make sure it was her. IT WAS! They fired her! Can you believe that! You would have never know she of all people would have been convicted of bank robbery!

I was so shocked when I googled her name myself. Didn't know court cases were even public knowledge on the net.

CRAZY HEY!

So watch out, your company may google you today!

Moogled 07-06-2007 02:52 AM

I was actually thinking of posting it, just so you guys can see! Just not sure it would be rude to that person or inappropriate ??? What do you guys think?

bulletsworld 07-06-2007 03:08 AM

I had to look it up again..

Wow, I guess she was a witness to the beating of the Edmonton bus driver too. Geesh!

Anyway here is the site.. she is the last post. # Eleven

"11. SENTENCE – ROBBERY

Accused charged with robbery. She gave a note to the teller in a bank stating “I have a needle filled with nitric acid.” She was given $1500 (within which was a dye pack). The dye pack exploded in her handbag. She dropped the bag, fled and was apprehended shortly thereafter. No needle was ever found. Accused (34) – no criminal record/guilty plea. Sentence: 31 months plus DNA order."

Google your coworkers today.

Eeew.

Delphinus 07-06-2007 06:59 AM

Hmmm, #1 hit for me is a condolence note I wrote for a former acquaintance who died in a medi-vac flight crash into Lake Michigan a few weeks ago. :(

#2 hit is a photo credit in the RC "Anemone FAQ." :) That's kinda cool, I can live with that. :) Better than reading some of the utterly embarassing posts I made on usenet like 15 years ago, which used to be what turned up on early google hits. :)

Pescador 07-06-2007 06:10 PM

I got a 192,000 hits, unfortunately I have the same last name as the mutant killer on X-files:biggrin:.
And a lake in Tasmania that would be cool to fish one day.
