Tank (corner overflow), stand, 20g (ex-trickle filter) sump (drilled), Berlin HO skimmer (currently plumbed in-sump). The glass tops and matching 2-lamp NO 4' fixture.

No pump.

Price of $250 based on you assisting in moving our 120g tank into place when you move this one out. :D :D :D

Deb,
I Didnt take a close enough look when I was over, what berlin skimmer is the one you mentioned?

Is it one of the larger ones?

I will help you move the new tank in place and you dont even need to sell me anything!

That is VERY nice of you Jonathan  We may just have to take you up on that offer.

The Berlin is the Hang-On 25-250g (which of course translates to...works on tanks up to 75g  )

Your welcome. It's always fun setting up a new tank especially when you dont have to pay for it or take care of it. :D

Do you have any intrest in selling the skimmer by it's self or are you looking to rid yourself of everything at once?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I guess it doesn't matter much once I have everything moved over, so likely. I'd just prefer to get everyone in their new homes as soon as possible, those big fish look so cramped. :(

I'll discuss it with Barry tonite and let you know.

We need to tear apart the 72g and move it into the garage, and move the 120g in from the garage.

There are steps up in the garage, so if it comes in that way, we thought we would rent a dolly, and two guys could probably do it. Likely there are alternatives...

Sounds like a job for Canadian Man.... :D

Reward = One Berlin HO - Gratis

Oh for crying out LOUD, of course there will be others of us helping. How many hands would you like? No skimmer required. ;)

I think Mitch handed out frags. ;) ;) nudge nudge

Note the smileys: :D ;)

The livesand in there for sure.....I won't be keeping most of that.

Perhaps more buckets ???? :D

Is the moving schedule dependent upon the sale of the 72g? Or will you prepare the 72 for storage if it doesn't sell soon?

Livesand sounds nice, but I have too much now... 5" of fine oolitic that redistributes itself on a whim.

 SKIMMER!COOL!
But My crappy schedule always seems to get in the way of the tank moves. :(
I get tommorow off(thursday Aug 8th)

Friday, aug 9th I work at 12:30pm so I am availiable in the morning.

Saturday, aug 10th and Sunday, aug 11th I work 9:30 to 5:30 so evenings on both days is great if that works for you.

Then my next days off are Wednesday and Thursday which is August 14th and 15th.

Does any of those days sound like it would work Deb?

Hey Guys,
Man I stop checking for replies for a few hours and you guys go wild with the posts!

Kim got back from holidays the other day, he stoped by for a visit tonight and Yup, he picked up his buckets.

Yes Katie gave me a very excited "OH, OH, I want to come too!" when I told her about the plan.
She was the one that helped me move my 90g from my car and carried the stand from the basement to the main level. I should also mention that my stand weighs more than my tank  Ya I got a little over excited with the wood work for that.

FOOD IS GOOD!

You might have to meet the dogs this time... :D but I'll keep them out of the way for the moving. ;)

Gals don't lift heavy objects here.

Hi Em, thanks for the buckets. Jon mentioned that you might need them back while you move your tank. :D

I have a two wheel dolly that you could borrow.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Hi Kim,

No, I was mostly kidding about the buckets. ;) We still have enough containers here to accomplish it. The offer of the dolly would be mucho kindly accepted :D Are you able to come over ?

Hi Deb, sorry to say that I will be unable to come over.

I have been invited to something a little less strenuous. I will be attending a Toga Party - that right a Toga Party.

Now what will I wear? :D

Deb,
DUN DUN DA DA(INSERT HERO MUSIC)
I also have a 2 wheeled dolly that i can borrow from work for the evening. I will bring that.
It's not the kinda that moves fridges, ya know with the straps and stuff.
We have though carried 1000 lbs in weights on it before when we used to sell home gym's and such so it is strong and probably the same type that Kim mentioned.

sound good?

EmilyB 08-09-2002 05:25 PM

FS: 72g Bowfront - Oak

Barry wants to make sure we have the kind with straps for safety sake, so don't worry about it. We can pick one up at our end easily enough.

See ya tomorrow Jon :D

Jon, you wouldn't happen to have any 3/4" PVC pieces ? We need a couple more two foot pieces. If not, we'll just grab a length at Revy tomorrow.

Working on the eggcrate/PVC base for the rock.

Hello,

Hey guys. Next time please post only relevant details. What I mean is that if someone else is interested in the stuff being offered for sell, s/he won't have to browse through personal discussions such as dogs or something like that.

Titus

Hello,

The thread was about items for sell, right? So it should stay in this forum, whereas the local club forums can be used for discussions on local events (temperature issues, mail order issues, etc)...

And hey, thanks for considering keeping the board interesting. I just want to keep it clean such that no visitor who is just browsing will get the wrong impression that this board is off topic till lunch.

You may, however, post the same stuff in the Lounge though.

Titus

No problem Titus,

I was waiting for the thread to be moved to the Calgary club section. The only real reason I posted here and not personal email is there's nothing on here to read much, I thought the locals might find the progression of events interesting.

If not, my apologies. And I'll not mention d%$gs again, ever :D

P.S. Please close the thread

EmilyB -

Funny you should mention waiting for it to be moved to Calgary, I was watching for the same thing. Perhaps a separate "tank moving day" thread would have been in order.

And you're right, it is interesting for us locals to take note of the chain of events. Not much else going on... Oh, wait, I have a life - or do I ???
