Is that 1/4" line? I bought one on amazon without much of an issue a few years back. My valve at the top was metal though and not huge so not great if you need to make a lot of adjustments with big hands. It was like this one.

Haha no I didn't have to...but I might not have used it for the same thing you did and was unsure if the adjustment valve on this would work for you.

Strange that they want so much shipping...I'm a Prime member and shipping for that was listed as free.

This is for a kalk-stirrer?
Just going to do a slow drip?
Not the same, but would a 1/4" irrigation valve work? I used one in past for a calcium reactor.

Hey man yes its for the ice cap kalk stirrer and its a drip every 3 sec i have tried others just cant seem to get it to work the needle valve you mean for the cal Reactor? The little silver one that is hooked up to the air for bubbles

Oh those ones i just looked at the link how did you find the?

smokinreefer 02-23-2023 12:16 AM

it did the job.
I had it tee'd off my return.
If I recall I used a JG 1/4 shut off in-line before the valve. To slow down the flow first, then fine tune with the valve.
I think for what my purpose was and yours, the lack of precision is acceptable.
my flow rate was faster tho.

only thing I would be weary of with a slow drip kalk effluent is the potential for precipitate to form at the exit tubing.
