FS:*MINT* ReeFlo Hammerhead/Barracuda Gold Hybrid Pump BBY

Hey,

up for sale is a mint condition
ReeFlo Hammerhead/Barracuda Gold Hybrid Pump (6000/4600 gph)

bought this recently with the intentions of getting some good flow through my returns, but i guess that was overlooked in tank production and the weir of my overflow cant handle it. i have to severely throttle it back which is such a waste for this wicked pump. itd be like buying a lambo but only being allowed to drive in school zones!

Pump is mint, only used to test the plumbing and flow.

new is $600+tax
asking $600 cash and will include a replacement seal.
savings of about $150

looks bad ass. too bad I cannot afford it. have you ever considered adding a bypass valve to divert flow? you can add a tee and valve on the output and plumb it back to the input side to basically make a loop. then you can adjust the valve to flow needs. I could text you some pics if needed

Hey thanks for the suggestion. Appreciate it. I get what youre saying, but it just doesnt make sense for me to run it.

Ive never had a remote sump before and i grossly overestimated what my flow needs were. :p

Cheers.
