I don't want the frag I want the whole piece

Geo 12-13-2015 03:11 AM

This is the coral that pushed me over the edge and made me decide to get back into the hobby.

About 6 months too soon for me alas....

Scythanith 12-13-2015 11:50 AM

Bid on this peoples!

Myka 12-13-2015 12:42 PM

I've had a few PMs...

The frag is 11 weeks old today. The frag that is in the picture of the mother colony is not the frag you're bidding on - that one has already been sold.

It grows pretty fast if you feed it. :)

ponokareefer 12-14-2015 03:52 AM

Will they survive without direct feeding?

Yes they will. They just won't grow very quickly.

I don't feed the mother colony. I just feed the frags so they heal faster and grow a bit before I sell them.

Myka 12-16-2015 03:08 AM

Interesting...I sold a frag earlier in the year on the Canada Coral Auction FB page, and it had multiple bidders. Maybe y'all aren't ready for this amazeballs LPS. :p

Geo 12-16-2015 03:23 AM

I'd be on this hard if I was ready, my favourite piece for sure.

How much for room and board?

Hehe. :)

Skimmer Juice 12-16-2015 06:55 AM

I would grab it but a bad time for me to spend $250 on a frag for myself ! After xmas would be no problem

I was thinking about that. I keep seeing posts from people "buying themselves a gift", so I figured this would be a good one. If it doesn't get any bids this year, I'll try next year. ;) If not, I'll just sell it locally, I was just trying to get some action in the auction forum. :)

Aquattro 12-16-2015 01:11 PM

I would grab it but I'm cheap and it's 10x more than I'd spend on a frag :)

Oh I know you're cheap. Sometimes I wonder how you manage to fill your tank. I offered you a part-trade, but then you went all excusey on me.

Oh, I'll trade, but you won't be happy with it :) On a good note, it's recovering well.

Well if it doesn't sell in this auction, let's talk. :)

hackerberry 12-16-2015 02:08 PM

I would bid on this beauty if you accept Paypal. :)

NU-2reef 12-16-2015 03:47 PM

YUUUUUP!

$200

theokie 12-16-2015 11:08 PM

I would love to bid, but sadly my tank and I aren't on speaking terms right now, ATO issue while I was away for work. Now when you have another one in the near future, I will be bidding like crazy, as that is one of my holy grail corals.

I've had a couple PMs asking - this is a lineage Tyree Space Invader Pectina. It is not a knock-off.

It's legit I can vouch for that! I have one in my tank and it's the brightest pectina That I have ever seen in person.

hackerberry 12-18-2015 02:28 PM

Too bad I missed the deadline.

I was wondering what happened. I figured you'd be back with another bid. Maybe I'll make another frag in a couple months.

hackerberry 12-18-2015 03:34 PM

Sounds good. I missed it by 5 minutes, was watching Tanked.
