New T5 lights
 

I recieved my lights last week. I just took some pictures. I can say I'm inpressed with the lights. I have 2 Actinic and 2 10k. Here are the pics.

i don't see them on a tank...what gives??

New tank is in the works. I have a stand, tank and now lights. :biggrin: I'm in no hurry...

What size tank do you have in the works Walter? Did you buy lights/ballast as a package ? Should give you good results :cool: Pics to follow I'm sure :wink:

I'm just assembling a 2x36" T-5 actinic retro kit and can't wait. Maybe I will post pics later too.

It's Deb's old 24x24x18 cube. The lights come as a single unit each. Comes with ballast, fixture, quick disconnect cord and bulb. The 24" ones were under $40 each.

Actually chronologically, the tank went from DJ88 to Tman to me to Des to Jon and then to Walter. :lol:

How many people can own one tank?!?!?!? :eek:

I picked up a couple of those lights, and threw them on top of my 15. They appeared to put out as much light as my 2X65W PC fixture. I am just building a top to make them more permanent. :biggrin:

For a 20Gal tank would u only need 1 10000k and 1 antic?

The tank actually never went to Desmonds. It got stored in my garage the day he picked it up from you. Then it became mine :lol:

They don't sell any antics, but you could use one 10000K and one Actinic, or even better would be two 10000K and one actinic. The fixtures are quite small, so you could easily have three of them side by side. That's the way I built my top. :biggrin:
