Its a new email from Google. they offer a ton of space (1000MB) and you can send large emails as well (I think 10MB). They're in beta testing right now and since they've just started up its an opportunity to get whatever email address you'd like :biggrin:

Guess I should have included a note for people to include their email addresses in their posts when I offered invitations. :lol: Still have two if Harvey runs out.

Alan, yes they do, but it's software that does it, obviously not a person, and secondly, if you think any email service these days doesn't parse your emails for keywords, you're dreaming (spam filtering depends on it). It doesn't bother me much and at least ads about fish, cheap textbooks and surfing are more related to my interests than increasing my size. :razz:

Hmm, I've had 16 invites over the last 2 weeks or so....

Maybe they're expanding out of beta.

I think it's just a new wave of beta testing. About two months ago I would get five, then as soon as I got rid of them, five more, and this continued for a few weeks. Then for a month I got none. Now I've started to get them again. I expect they'll email all the users when it goes public and within weeks we'll see the servers slow down noticeably. :neutral:
