Tried shrinking it down to size. Lost a little clarity though. Not eating prepared foods yet, but still getting nutrients from the yolk sack!

Banggai Cardinals. My male has been eating the eggs recently, around a week after spawning, so I am currently trying to raise them in an egg tumbler.

Aweome pics, that green scolly is sweet

Taipan 06-16-2014 07:19 AM

Thanks for the compliment. All pieces in my (former) display/collection have some type of "story" or sentiment.

This particular one was my first piece/choice from Canada Corals from their Grand Opening. I walked around for at least an hour before settling on this one.

This is the "before" feeding picture:

The colours of this particular scoly have become more robust over time and the orange/red striping has thicken.

Below are pictures of it and another piece of mine as they are currently being cared for at an LFS while my new Display is being prepared:

WOW !! Great photos everyone!

Just a reminder that for all you habitual mult-submitters (I won't name any names because you know who you are- RED), please PM or indicate in this thread which of the many awesome pics you would like to submit for POTM voting :-) If you don't let me know then I will pick my favourite one :-)

Taipan 06-18-2014 01:15 AM

Hi. My name is Red; habitual coral hoarder. I have a problem (one of many). Admitting I have a problem is the first step of a very long road ahead. I will leave any and all (current and future) submissions in contests to your "Kien" eye (unless otherwise noted). Thanks in advance. ;)

FishingGoalie 06-18-2014 03:56 AM

kien pick the worst one so we all at least have chance at winning ;) (I just realized that they are all amazing :(

I did say I was going to pick my favourite, which actually could very well be the worst one

Slyguy00 06-18-2014 03:59 AM

Seriously, what's up with that?!

Taipan 06-18-2014 10:26 AM

I have a soft spot for many things. Scolys, Anemones, Triggers, Euphyllia. Actually...my favourite picture (although perhaps not the best photogenically) is the Sargassum Trigger munching on some food. lol
