pyramid snails are evil, evil buggers.

I saw someone had a thread last month I think, where they used Velcro to hold the bottom of the clam together....

We lost 2 of them (from Langley) the same way & still bought a 3rd from there at their boxing day sale. Fortunately we have been able to save this one, looking for those snails. I hope you can still save it.

Is your clam on the sand or a rock shelf, I had mine on a rock shelf and it was doing great for the longest time, I think something was attacking it from the bottom. I thinking Bristle worms but not sure, long story made short I lost it.

Coral Hoarder 05-03-2014 04:35 AM

Its on the sand atm and sorry to hear that sucks

A lot of them that came out pet land seem to have died

monocus 05-04-2014 04:37 AM

I don't know that pet land carry saltwater

duncangweller 05-04-2014 01:20 PM

They are doing a refurb at the moment on their saltwater stuff. Although it seems like they have been doing it forever. They have a huge frag yank set up now but it doesn't have water in it yet.

They have sold salty stuff for about a year now I think.

i would never buy any livestock from a big box store. most of the time the staffs don't know what they're doing.

Coral Hoarder 05-04-2014 05:33 PM

Its not a big box store although the name does inply
