Zoos Rock 4 Sale or Trade

Sorry for this crappy photo. The rock is about 5x5x6" and covered with zoos:

If someone wants a nice full colony of zoos, here it is. I would take a piece of mature live rock (and some cash) in trade.

If there's enough interest I could also break it up into maybe 4-5 pieces.

Here's a close-up shot of the polyps:

These zoos have never hurt me, I just need some room and options for the new tank.

I would be interested in these, are they still available?

RobbAdams 08-04-2004 03:40 PM

I have a few of these From you Alan (they were stuck to the mushrooms) The picture deffinately do not do them justice  I don't really have much for spare live rock, but would be willing to pay straight cashola, or could just go buy a nice piece from golds. I love these zoos, and would love a large colony

Cag spoke first for the whole piece, just waiting for confirmation from him.

Stay tuned.

I have just fragged some of those, so I have small frags available.

AJ_77 02-18-2005 05:57 AM

Bob, do you have any of these right now?

SeaHorse_Fanatic 02-18-2005 09:07 AM

I'd love some of those zoos too if anybody's headed to the coast in the future

To answer all who have asked. Yes those are available, but I have to voice a note of caution. The miracle of closeup photography makes them look like the second picture, but they only look like that if you can get within one centimetre of the zoos. IOW they usually look like this.

I think these are two slightly different types. Cameron got my whole colony, and yours have a green center where the others were a purple center.

Where's Cameron? They must be all over half his tank by now.

I must disagree. The second picture is one that you took of the zoos I have. There is just a lot of variation depending on how close you get, and the lighting.

Nope - shot was taken at my house, zoos didn't originally come from you. Sorry. Hence the difference - unless they morphed into a new variant.
