Coral ID
We found this little piece of whatever it is, in the rubble in the refuge...
It glows bright green, so it's obviously phosphorus... But what is it?! I have glued it to a frag rock, but I'm not even sure it's a piece of coral... http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/13/sudyqyre.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Haha yeah, do you have any idea what it is man? In your professional opinion, is it a piece of coral? It's just a round ball, but definitely phosphorus.

absolutely a coral for sure , can you get a closer pic?
wouldnt be hard to id if a better pic is available:) |
is it boney or does it have a skeleton?
large or small polyps? |
Candy Cane Coral???

It's hard.. It has small tentacles coming off of the one side right now. I would have to say it's a bunch of small polyps around the whole thing.. Flat, not popping out.. But so hard to say!

Could it be a small chunk of green hydnaphora. Google pictures of it, there are a few different varieties and it is stony and often has tiny white polyps amidst bright greens.

At this time, it's hard to say if there are any polyps at all.. If anything, it looks maybe like a couple larger sized polyps that are flat to the rock.. I just don't know lol
