Looks like a killer project.

Welcome back btw Marko.

I see how that is going to be sweet, but I would feel so disappointed by the end product on having very limited viewing inside the shallow reef. Especially on the "waterfall" and deeper side of the pond.

If I was putting that much time and effort into the tank I would atleast want some sort of view-able side to it, don't ya figure?

I guess time will tell with the finished product.

neoh 07-04-2013 04:11 AM

that's wicked.

lastlight 07-04-2013 05:44 AM

that is too cool. if i had that kind of cash i'd have one viewing pane somewhere in the concrete wall as well.

MoreDakka 07-04-2013 06:51 AM

If I had that much cash I would invent clear concrete

Sheesh, that's a huge project.

Steve

My money would be on bringing in saltwater, rather than making it.

It's not the size of the pond, it's the motion in the ocean.

mike_marcus24 07-07-2013 11:28 PM

That's awesome.
It's not fair that fish get a bigger home than me.

MoreDakka 07-08-2013 12:10 AM

I hope not, our smallest bed room has more volume than that and it's not very big!

jorjef 07-08-2013 02:11 AM

The pond is mentioned at 600 square feet.. If he lives in an apartment in downtown Vancouver who knows....
