Lets see your full room pics!

One of my favorite pics is the full room shot where you can see the room the tank is in. So if anyone wants to play…lets see them!

Here is one from last month and one from 6 or 8 months ago.

Here's mine...it is a family room, and the kitchen is on the other side that you can't see......it's all open, with doors to our front deck and back deck

brilliant

Okay, the staircase tank wins for originality! That rocks! Beautiful looking tank. I having visions of some scene from a horror movie where someone hurtles down the stairs and goes head first into the tank, but now worries, I think the person's head would break leaving the tank in pristine shape!

But seriously ... when do I move in?

Diana 06-26-2007 03:58 AM

Shane, does your algae magnet have a wood finish!? ;)

michika 06-26-2007 04:01 AM

You all have such wonderful tanks, and beautiful houses. Where are you people finding such great places with such awesome architecture?

scub steve 06-26-2007 04:37 AM

if i come to lethbridge can i come se your tank???

mark 06-26-2007 05:04 AM

Surgeonfish, showed my wife your pictures, her words were like "holy f*****n cow".

I second them.

Chaloupa 06-26-2007 05:15 AM

I gotta agree, some amazing houses with BEAUTIFUL tanks!

Thanks for the comments.

Justusfish:
There is a reason I don't allow bowling balls on my staircase. You can move in anytime as long as you pay my taxes and utilities.

Diana:
I have the Tiger Shark Magnet from J&L aquatics. It has a real wood covered outer magnet. I also have a second one with the Easy Blade Scraper Attachment so I don't leave it in the tank.

Scub Steve and fellow reefers:
You are all welcome to my home if you are ever in the Lethbridge region. I would love to have some positive criticism or recommendations. Sometimes I feel so isolated from fellow reefers or LFS. Heck, I might even be able to find a cold beer in the fridge.

Man you guys have soom cool setups. My tank was banished to the basement in my new house (noise & light polution) so I have nothing to share for this thread. Maybe in a couple of years when the basement is finished I'll have something to compete with.

ClubReef 06-29-2007 07:08 PM

Very nice presentations. Well done everyone!

untamed 06-30-2007 12:37 AM

Order of priority...get the tank done...finish the rest of the basement next!

Redrover,

I like the view. Look at the tank, then watch some TV! Is that a viewable refugium I'm seeing?

andrewsk 07-09-2007 04:37 PM

You need to get your ORP higher :)

Pescador 07-09-2007 05:50 PM

And is that a "in case of emergency break glass" axe?

Redrover 07-11-2007 11:42 PM

ANDREWSK...ORP ...give it time...just set up that afternoon

GreenSpottedPuffer 07-27-2007 12:43 AM

Wow! Nice rooms and tanks! I took a few quick pics with my camera phone (quality is not great) of my tanks in our apartment. The first is my FOWLR and second is my nano reef (was my girlfriends but now she just likes to look but not touch). Its hard to see in the pics but our living room is kinda ocean themed with fake corals, shells, sea fans, fish paintings, ect.

Room shots fr RC

Thread started a while back so there's lots of broken links to pictures but there's still lots to see

spencerC 08-22-2007 02:34 AM

Wholy crap guys.
All of those set ups are GORGEOUS.
Definitely all of them are something to be majorly proud of, and i'm sure you all are.
My mom was gasping as i showed her all the pictures.

Mine is going to look so lame compared to those....
But then again, I'm just starting with anything more than 10gal w/ goldfish so I guess i get cut some slack.

Whatigot 08-22-2007 02:57 PM

wow

I think maybe I am too poor to be in this hobby....lol
some of thes tanks are nicer and bigger than my appartment.
will post pics of my room as soon as I build a house around it....lol
awesome tanks, I love the staircase wooden extravaganza as well as that awesome cube....

Pier Pressure 08-22-2007 04:28 PM

Agreed. That stairway tank is absolutely stupendous, and the others are great, too. Suddenly my little fish area by the bar downstairs does not look half as good as it did before I saw this thread!

digital-audiophile 08-22-2007 05:12 PM

Whatigot 08-22-2007 06:03 PM

cprowler 07-02-2008 02:42 PM

I was just looking at the FRS again, anyone else want to add to them?

Parker 07-02-2008 03:10 PM

I love these threads, some incredibly nice set-ups in here!

Ian 07-03-2008 10:58 PM

I hate you all....
Bad enough that I'm totally hooked on this hobby after only 2.5 months but now your pictures have me pricing out a new tank...
Hmm F/s one wife will trade for 90 gallon aquarium:razz:

Mattgesy 07-06-2008 05:39 PM
