Roskoreefs 100 gal mixed reef
New Build! After getting my parent on for the last year and a half im back into swing with a new reef tank!
Downsized to a Concept custom built 100 gallonish tank, 94g display, 30g sump minus rock, sand and good stuff. dimensions are 42x26x20 high, backwall is false black glass coast to coast overflow, running 1" herbie drain and 1x 1" return. http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7fcly3wh.jpg originally had it used for freshwater but now back to the reef. http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/...psdeefumbp.jpg In this thread there will be many photos... |

Plans are mostly in action, except for new algae reactor and doser.
New apex with probes for Nsw and pmup Neptune pumps for small water changes, advanced flow modules, wxm, par monitor etc. Octopus reef regal 150 int dc skimmer Aquaforest 110 reactor with Zeo, carbon and their PHOS remover. Just added a small diy chaeto reactor ordered a Pax Bellum Arid n18 to replace my diy, will also tie in to Ca Reactor to use up extra co2 and boost chaeto growth. Bio block. Vertex rx-c 6d Ca reactor Single doser to dose food that need to be mixed, with a magnetic stirrer to mix before dosing. Took some par readings about 12" from the lights, I'm getting 450-500 near the top.. Everything seems ok, might turn it down a little. I was thinking 400 max near the top but all the sps seem to be very happy

Sprung a leak in the co2 line...went through a 5lb tank.in 3 days and did not turn everything to mush. Leak for sure. Replumbed and seems to be better
