Acro ID

Hi

Just got a nice frag from Xtreme and want to ID this Acro.
It is the small piece in this pics:

As well I have a question regarding the big Stag. The left branch at the beggining has a different color than the rest of the frag. It is not bleaching because it is greenish. Pics doesn't show but it is evident it is different color. Any comments?

The stag will get blue green on the tips as it grows, as for the other coral....could you get a closer shot of it?

Unfortunately no. I should buy new lense :) but you can look here http://www.flickr.com/photos/ruslicu...n/photostream/
On my STag is it normal to have the base other color and the branch other?the issue I see is that the base portion is not gradually different color, it is like it is in shadow and makes different color. never seen before.

the smaller one kinda looks like a granulosa

I will try to get a pic of the colony tomorrow as I would like to ID it as well. It's not Granulosa, I have a hunch as to what it is but the name escapes me at the moment.

Thank you Sean. Just for my records want to know, plus would help me to identify what will be the best place in my tank! Great frag though.

The smaller one looks like a deep water Lokani.

It looks similar, but it is pink, is there a pink lokani?

Yes, I've seen pink. There are a lot of different colour morphs of the Lokani. Pink could also be a very very light purple :-)

I'm no expert, but in theory since the Lokani is a "deep water" acro you should be able to get away with keeping it lower in your tank. However, all the lokani's I've seen in other peoples tanks (mine included) just treat lokani's like any other SPS. That is, give it lots of light, flow and stable parameters :-) It seems to do fine with lots of light despite being a "deep water" acro.

Thx Kien

I have a deep water turaki that loves intense light and high flow. Had it at the bottom of the tank for a while and it did ok there but does way better higher up.
