lastlight 02-01-2011 04:06 PM

Best FTS so far that looks incredible. I love the look of mature tanks with polyps filling all the little nooks and crannies well done! Big props for removing part of your stairs to get a tank in. That's the exact sort of thing I'd do haha.

Trocar61 02-01-2011 05:23 PM

spawn 02-02-2011 12:28 AM

Gorgeous Tank! I can only hope that I can come close to the amazing coloration that a grown in sps tank can provide. Again well done.

christyf5 02-02-2011 12:50 AM

hey Josie, I was just looking at your tank again, is that a yellow birdsnest next to the pink one? I've never seen one before (not a hystrix anyways and not one that incredibly yellow), could you post a close up photo of it? Thanks

mseepman 02-02-2011 03:27 PM

Very nice setup that shows the fanciest stuff isn't always needed to make an amazing reef!

Reefer Rob 02-03-2011 02:31 AM

Love those big corals! The Monti in the middle seems to giving an interesting finger gesture :surprise:

lobsterboy 02-03-2011 06:51 AM

;)
we are not zeovit fans and other stuff...
biopellets are about the fanciest thing we have...
old skimmer, MH and T5 lighting, old tunzes and koralia...
just the apex controller that's high tech... well dear husband is a geek-techno type!

New adition to the set-up: a quarantine/hospital tank
It's a 33g connected to the set-up with valves to separate it when in use...
The new SPS colonies will go in there before being placed in the main tank

Lance 02-17-2011 11:06 PM

Congratulations Josie! A truly awesome tank!

jd949 03-18-2011 11:18 PM

Samw 03-18-2011 11:23 PM

Beautiful tank. I really like the yellow acro with the blue tips on the back glass in the middle. I'm looking around town for one now.
