Apex APP for Android Beta Release

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ystems.ApexApp

Unfortunately I cant get it to work on the nexus 7, Apparently tablet support will be added later. I figured it might be useful with those running android cell phones.

EDIT - I ended up getting it to work on the nexus, had to reinstall, app was crashing during start up the first time around.

"working" for me means I can see the temp and amps used. No control, no profiles, not much of anything in there.

I have full control of all outlets as well as amp and temp information and graphs. I cant access the profiles for each outlet for some reason though. 401 Unauthorized error.

I hadn't updated to the new firmware yet, so doing that gave me outlets. Not sure how to even access the profiles?

Aquattro 01-02-2013 06:23 AM

Ah! Like that :) Same 401 error...I read something about that on RC...

Yeah I just said screw it and lost interest. Already had the iOS app :P

I'm glad they got this out now, I'm heading out of town in a couple weeks and would like to keep an eye on the tank. Might try out the web cam feature too :)

Maverick00 01-02-2013 06:37 AM

Defiantly! I wouldnt mind getting a better camera though, one with a swivelling head perhaps so i can keep tabs on my CPR overflow as well instead of chewing every last nail to the bone if im up island for the weekend.

I'll be in Mexico, so I'd just be able to watch it go to crap if anything happpened -lol

I got mine setup. I couldn't get the embedded image working with IE but I did get it going with Chrome. Only problem is the Foscam ip Cameras do not support SSL so you risk someone grabbing your id and password if you use an open wifi connection.

I also get a 401 unauthorized error when I try to access an outlet.
