Auction: Salvation Army Fragpack for Fort McMurray, Calgary
Here is another fundraiser for the Fort McMurray fire victims. this time donations to the Sally Ann. Link here: http://www.salvationarmy.ca
Although not a religious guy I think the Salvation Army does good work and the money seems to go for the most part where they say it will. To sweeten the deal I will match the winning bid with my own donation to the Salvation Army up to three figures. WYSIWYG: Frag Pack Starting Bid: $90 Bid Increments: $5 Settlement: Salvation Army Alberta Fire response receipt copy or cash and I will donate that. End date and time: Saturday May 14, 11:00 AM MST Shipping: Pickup only. Location: Calgary S.W. Description: 1- Pink birds nest, seriatopora hystrix 2- Orenji montipora (with a bit of mystery monti attached) 3- Superman chalice, 1 eye, echinophyllia sp. 4- Green Digitata 5- Green and orange meteor shower 6- Montipora spongodes 7- Green Hawkins acropora echinata 8- Pink pocillipora 9- German blue montipora A few disclaimers: my system has red planarium flatworms so you will need to freshwater dip to nuke those. Also we have vermitid worms so inspect carefully for those and scrape, crush etc. http://i882.photobucket.com/albums/a...psu8fyyssi.jpg |

There is a 7-day maximum timeline for auctions here at Canreef, but your auction is a fundraiser so we will allow it. Just a note for anyone else noticing. :)

Good on you Soapy! Pack looks great for a great cause. Money to be well spent
|
Thanks Myka.
Again great idea for having these fundraisers GoFish. And thanks for the bid Portuguesenrg. Guess I am kicking out money now too. Looking at the photo I realize the colours are a bit wonky and a few of the corals were cranky from being moved, I will try and get some more natural looking pictures up soon. Haven't quite figured out how to make these blue photos look right. Of course all these corals are easy to find online. |
Right on Soapy for the Cause
I'll go in for $120 worms or not; let do what we can to help out people in Fort Mac. Thank You for reaching out Soap.

My vermitids are on every rock so there is no getting them out. Once in a while I just smash the ones that bother me. They are part of the ecosystem that is my tank. |

Here is a picture of the bit of coral that is growing alongside the orange monti on that one frag. It didn't look like much for a long time but after moving it higher in my tank it is starting to look a lot nicer. No idea what it is or what colour it is supposed to be, it is some kind of monti I believe. Whoever gets this stuff will probably want to separate these two.

auction
Hey Soapy. I cant wait to grab these corals. You only take cash for payment right?
|
There are two ways to pay:
1- go to the link above, click to donate, specify Alberta Wildfires, pay with paypal or credit card. Forward that email to me to confirm payment. 2- pay me cash and I will pay the Sally Ann with credit card as above. Pick one if you want the tax receipt, really do pick option 1. |
I just paid my side. Your receipt will look something like this less the blacked out areas, etc. This was my mine. That is a non editable tax receipt, but in any case would be confirmable for CRA by the tax receipt number and the Salvation army charitable number. In other words it is unique to you. If you forward me the sally ann email I will know if it is a legit payment or print your receipt and show it to me when you come to pickup the frags.
