Those moments in reefing when...
 

When you put off that water change for so long, you can't remember if or what you added to the new water.

When that little voice in your head says don't do that, and you did anyway.

When that little voice above laughs at you

When you realize that all those guys that said there's always room for more frags lied...

You lay down towels all around your tank during a water change yet still manage to miss every towel and get the floor wet. Seriously WTF?!

You think back to when someone once told you. 'the hobby is only as expensive as you want it to be'

Thinking, ya one day I will put on a screen top, as you pick up your dried out $130.00 one day in the tank goby..

Buying that fish thinking....surrre they will get along.... **** storm ensues.

When you think "this is the last flood that I will cause".

when you think its a good idea to adjust your skimmer before bed

Oh, ya, that's never a good idea. Never!

when you have back and knee pain cant carry the 5 gallon water beg others to help you

Or when you adjust something in your stand, like add new timers, and knock off the hose from one of your media reactors, shooting water all over the inside of your stand & frying powerheads and equipment JUST BEFORE LEAVING the house ON VACATION. DOH!!!!

For a while I had my equipment trained to breakdown or catch on fire the night before leaving for a vacation. Made the vacation that much more enjoyable. Now you can say I'm an expert on preventative system design. LoL

My system is stable as a rock 51 weeks a year. Leave for vacation, something happens. Evert single time. I can count on it lol

when you realize just how many hundreds of dollars you have spent on rocks and sand............

When you asked for 1lb of live rock thinking that the people that you gave hundreds and hundreds of dollars of coral away to would help you but you should have known better.

...you realize you have salt stains in the armpit area of your shirt.

you realize putting eggcrate under your sand bed was about the dumbest idea ever

I remember that moment vividly :)

When the water level of your sump starts rising and rising and you are paralyzed to stop it from overflowing...

Or, another classic of mine, when you realize (the first night) that moon lighting in a tank in the bedroom is actually a terrible idea - and you just wasted money on moon lights.

when you check the buy and sell section MULTIPLE times a day

When somrone comes over to buy frags and you agreed on a price before they get there, Everything all bagged up and they say "oh, sorry I only brought this much" and it's a third of what you agreed on.

when you tell a guy you'll take all his coral from a tank shut down and you turn down the fish for an extra $100 because its just clownfish and a hippo tank... then you realize they're black ice clownfish when you go to pick up the corals but they're already sold
