Anyone here tried the new Phoenix bulbs?

Somebody must have one, they're all sold out!

I have one on its way. I ordered it last week so I can't give a personal opinion on the bulb yet, but I have heard good initial reviews despite a lack of info on coral growth with these bulbs.
I will keep you guys up to date. Rory |
Any update Shotzee ?, I just put mine in today and OMG I love them.
They certainly are getting some good reviews so far. (maybe for esthetic reasons at this point ?). I know I'm going to order a 150w now because these make my 10k AB's look absolutely yellow. |
I used to use Phoenix 14k and love it.

Sorry, I completely forgot about my posting that I would keep you guys up to date. Anyways, I guess now that it has had a considerablel amount of time to burn in I can say that I really like the bulb. The price and the color is perfect. It is blue enough to make the colors pop out at you, but not too blue. It also seems to make reds really stand out, which sometimes get subdued with a higher K bulb.

any links on these bulbs?

I was just basically following the discussions on them on Reef Central for several months.
Made in Japan and are being compared to the Aqua Connect bulbs which were/are very popular and more expensive. |
The spectral comparison with the Aquaconnect bulb is virtually identical.

Updates???
How do you like them now? How would you compare them to 20K AB? From the stats, I know they are brighter, but are they more or less blue than the 20KAB? |
