Will Parallels work to run the Windows software on Mac, or do you need full blown OS?

Mitras works on Mac using installed MS windows.

So can you use a Windows virtual machine (through something like VMware Fusion)? Bootcamp would work, but VMware Fusion might allow OP to use the software "within" the OSX side without having to reboot into Windows.

Although by this time you would be investing in both Fusion and a Windows license and it may be better to just buy a cheap laptop as mentioned by another poster earlier.

Bootcamp is probably the route I will go.

I am sure it would also work installing windows using parallels or vmware.

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out a clean way to support all this egg crate and I finally came up with a solution.

I got some black acrylic rods, cut them to size and added some groves on one end so that I could slip it into the squares. I added 9 rods per section (2ftx2ft) was the perfect amount to support the sheet.

How does the pictures work out for you? Im looking to buy a hobby cam; probally just a eos t2i cannon with a 20mm macro lens and an extension tube. You must be able to take some really close big pictures with your setup. IM interested to see what comes out of your website picture wise. Keep me posted my tank has plenty of room for new corals

We haven't played with the 100mm lens much yet. All the pictures on our website were taken with a Canon T3i and 60mm EF-S macro lens. It was a great lens to work with because we could nice and close to the subject while taking the pics.

With the 100mm lens, we will need to extend the tripod much higher but that wont be a problem this time around because our tanks are not as tall anymore.

All our coral beds are filled with water and one of them is currently holding all our corals. Its going to take some time to get the systems stable to produce good coloration but it will be worth the wait. You know that they say... "you cant rush perfection".
