No sarcasm  I just couldn't believe it he seems to be a moody man sometimes but actually he has a very good heart. Lucky for us to have him work at our LFS though.

You hit the nail on the head. He does give off a snobby feeling when you first meet him. It gets better with more interaction you have with him. Jeff is a very knowledgeable person when it comes to this hobby, he has been in the hobby for quite some time now and I usually direct all my question his way. Although some of the question are elementry, he still trys to explain to me the best he can, it's only when you start to ask the same elementry question over and over again he starts to get annoyed, but for the most part I just google before I start asking.

This explains where I got all my bristle worms from.
The biggest one I've pulled out so far was 1" wide, an absolutely ugly MFer.

Thank you so much for giving me WORMS! Haha!

I can't wait until you get this tank flourishing like your old 210. And just remember that you can always fit the wife INSIDE the tank the next time there's a disagreement.

Just a small update

I have been busy for the last week or so, didn't get much done. I have also been fighting off a new tank syndrome hair algae outbreak since I nuked all my rocks by fresh water dipping everything for 4 minutes to kill all the pests.

I am almost finished my skin for the tank, all it left is fill and sand then off to a good friend of mine's shop to get it paint it.

I finally did some testing last night alk is at 6.5, cal is at 500, and mag is around 1100. No wonder the hair algae is growing out of control, I bumped my alk up a couple of points and plan to do a water change later.

Here are a couple of recent photos.

Tank is looking good, must say I love the rock placement as it looks nearly identical to the way I did mine.

Thanks for the compliment. The rock work took me a fair amount of time to get it right. I think thats the single most time consuming part of setting up a tank. I have done my fair share of fruit stand look so this time I wanted some thing different. I am even considering take out a few more pieces of rock just to make it look cleaner...

Ps love to see what your tank look like.
