To all you who have pregnant wives (or ones who were pregnant) out there:

Ask them how they got rid of the morning sickness. This constant nausea is a new kind of hell.

Nano 04-18-2012 10:57 PM

LOL gotta tough it out :)

My wife was pretty good once she figured out she had to eat something ASAP when she got up in the morning. Actually i think the trick was to try to keep some food in your stomach at all times. If you feel 'hungry' it may be too late.

It may not work for everyone but it did help a lot for my wife.

P.S. Congrats by the way.

muck 04-19-2012 12:41 AM

Just asked her actually and she mentioned that she would have breakfast as soon as she woke up then a 2nd breakfast once she got to work. She also had little snacks frequently during the day between regular meals.

Nano 04-19-2012 12:43 AM

My wife said, Ginerale and crackers (duhh...) also peppermint was a good one like teas and peppermints and things helped.

your gf served me and my hockey team a few weeks back it was funny!! she was like "hello again" and I just said hello! can't believe she remembered us! lol!

The Grizz 04-19-2012 02:23 AM

My 21yr old daughter is visiting ( she pregnant ) and holding my sons newborn and said the funniest thing ever. " if I break him I will feel so bad cause he's not mine "

reefgirl189 04-19-2012 02:49 AM

I've tried it all except for the breakfast first thing in the morning thing. I'm a breakfast skipper usually. Hopefully that's the trick for me, thanks for the tips guys.

On another note:

I wish we procreated more like chickens. I would be more than happy to lay an egg and sit on it for the next few months. At least then I could still drink wine.

She told me that lol. She said it took her a while to place you and then she was like oh yeah the fish girl lol.

I told steve and wayne that you could make it up this way with the hockey team so the north end should be no issue for the reef meet lol.

Flash 04-19-2012 03:53 PM

they are the cheapest in town by far and I get wicked coverage!

Coralgurl 04-19-2012 03:56 PM

Alberta government is a freakin joke. Upcoming election and would love to see the PC booted, but the wildrose are a bunch of rascists. I think I should run the province and give policies a complete overhaul. ARGH
I say this as I've been dealing with one department for years and have gotten nothing but a run around, zero accountability with anyone. Have been battling hard for 2 years now and no resolution or even attempts to get it right. There are so many departments of the government that are a complete waste of taxpayers money and cause so many of our social issues, further burdening tax payers.

reefgirl189 04-19-2012 04:05 PM

I'm having a really hard time deciding on this elections too. None of the options are what I want for Alberta. Racists or Bigots? Tough choice.

Coralgurl 04-19-2012 04:10 PM

Vote for me....lol, I'm neither!

Nano 04-19-2012 04:21 PM

my personal Opinion but every time I see those NDP sign I just feel like going on a vandalism spree and burning them all.. lol

:twised:

Zoaelite 04-19-2012 04:27 PM

The bigots promised MRU 150 million in funding, budgets were done up and then a certain party backed out on there promise. The racists get my vote on this one, we get some real nice choices here in Alberta though .

Au contraire, I have and not ashamed to say I made it worth my time. I'm sure when I die beyond my policy term they will be jumping for joy.
