UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!!!
Alright then ladies and gents here's an update for anyone that is still interested.
After almost 2 months of rebuilding our kitchen from the floor up I finally got a chance to finish building the end towers & stand for the 60 gal, painted and moved into the house. A couple of weeks back I cut the front face panels for the bottom of the whole stand & found some premade doors that match the size I required. Here's a few pics.......... http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...psfhbsmx2k.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...psu9didplw.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...psxpeegmcg.jpg |

Hope to get all the rest of the stand skinned this week so I can start the process of organizing my equipment.
|
Well made a small amount of progress tonight despite being up since 4 am due to an emergency call out followed by 2 more through out the day, hate this cold weather cause it always causes equipment break downs. Had a little nap after call out #2 which it seems was not a good idea cause now I cant get to sleep.
Anyways the bottom front of the stand is all faced and doors on, have to finish my command center on the left end so I can get the doors on as well. Then its to the top cabinets, light hanger & canopy........... Stay tuned........... |
Wow your tank is amazing can't wait to see it filled!! Keep the pictures coming:biggrin:
|
And the thread just stops ?
I've been reading this every second I had a chance sense 10 pm (I'm @ work, not that slow of a reader) It's like reading a good book n finding out someone rip out the last 10 pages Just for that.. Closed loop ! Sorry I couldn't help my self That's is a dream setup ... Way to go I love the DIY Feels so much better at the end ... |

How's your back? That's a closed loop right? (Sorry couldn't help myself) Wow that tank is crazy, the thought that's gone into it is probably more the the labour time... I'm going to drive you crazy with questions Do you have a favourite drink or like wild meat? Going need to keep you happy :) Will not have to wait until next season...... Cubes are not in yet maybe in a week...... Wood work is almost done hopefully by Sunday..... Back/shoulder is day to day...... NO closed loop ........ Long Islands or Kokanee & wild meat, Im a bear so yes.. Have a couple little things to do and I will be filling the tank and getting it salty again hopefully by Sunday, taking a good portion of water from the other tanks to get it all started and seeding some more rock in the existing tank. Stay tuned another pic update this week. |
Last night was the first night shift in a few weeks, some of that post doesn't make sense and I'm still up
I thought it stopped in August ...lol But the post I look at was Dec 9 not Aug 12 lol Sorry to get all upset I'll b watching for updates If you need a hand let me know, if I'm not working I'm there |
Last night after a long day I decided to sit in the corner & get all my pumps wired in, took some time & effort to get it done the way I wanted it but success was had.

So Greg, I read in Coralmaster's thread that you switched to closed loop on your tank? Got pics of that to share with us? |
Next step is to finish the front of the top cabinets & get these thing figured out for a little something special I have in mind.
