We are fine. Unfortunately the tire didn't get removed and when we finally pulled away, at 64th there was a 3 car accident, looked pretty bad and there was the tire right beside it all. I hit it at 32nd. Unbelievable, I told the 911 operator it was going to cause an accident....hope those other folks are ok.

Oh and sorry for the language..I was waiting for the cops to show up and was a little upset...

Nano 03-01-2012 03:06 AM

Glad you guys are ok!

I just turned on my refugium light, and holy COPEPODS! yesterday there were hardly any, today I could clean the glass and leave a trail easy. My scooter will be eating good in no time!

Understandable to be upset, glad you're ok. Can't imagine how freaky/scary that would be.

mandarin is MIA....carpet is looking super huge and colourful......dont need to be a genius to figure out what happened there......oh my time to go mandarin shopping...great lol

SeaHorse_Fanatic 03-01-2012 06:11 PM

I believe because of their colourful markings it makes them look poisonous to other fish, but thay aren't actually poisonous. I could be wrong though, not 100% sure about that.

SeaHorse_Fanatic 03-01-2012 11:29 PM

Nope, most of the sources I found on Google suggests they secrete a toxic slime coat that is poisonous to some predators.

That was the most antiCLAMatic thread I have ever read, all is well!!! ..... after such painful drama...I think I'm going to sing "Horse with no name" for the next two hours. I don't know if I should laugh or cry.....

DAMN IT!! My MarineLand Reef Bright LED fixture on my FOWLR died, $100 down the toilet. Looks like I will be building another smaller LED kit.

I smell another featured build on reef builders ;) p.s. that sucks dude lol. on the bright side you might be able to throw some coral in there now. and if you dont at least the leathers you have in there should come back to life!

from what i know i believe its also true, im not sure if it bothers anemones or not either way its the only thing in my tank that could have done it as all my fish are fairly peaceful(6line exception) plus i know when my carpet has eaten he only eats once every week and today hes looking as though he fed the day before......and im thinking he did

i dont like that my carpet ate a meal that big though

it was def the carpet its quite big and its located next to the dragonette pod pile and sponge pile it was only a matter of time plus the clowns seem to keep everyone away except for the mandarin they for reason dont mind the mandarin in their territory :):)

naw, I'm declaring this a moderator free zone.. If you want to find a moderator you need to look at least 9 meters from the entrance.

Second verse....

After two days in the desert sun
My skin began to turn red
After three days in the desert fun
I was looking at a river bed
And the story it told of a river that flowed
Made me sad to think it was dead

Yep officially cured, hand me the hammer...

I tried! While we were chasing about 300 of them away from the diamond mine I was working at.
