We received a shipment yesterday that included our return pumps (speedwave 1320) and skimmer (Vertex Alpha 250) so we were able to finish gluing all the plumbing.

We also got some Tunze waveboxes and Tunze 6255 pumps. The LPS systems will have two waveboxes and two 6255, the SPS system will have four 6255's. The 6255's are controllable from 1300gph to 4800gph each.

Today's task is to silicone one overflow box so that we can get 1 out of 4 tanks filled with water. It's getting close!!!!

We use very little GFO so we only need the Phosban 150 reactor. For carbon, we will be using the Phosban 550 reactor.

Don't put that silicone away. I have a feeling you will need to do the other 3 sooner than later :)

Your light order was put in yesterday ;) keeping fingers crossed for week 1 September for you.

Amazing build.

The remote control fish takes me back to my Pink Floyd days with the remote control Pig!

Have you thought about using the RO cansiter style PO4 and carbon filter pods? So much easier to maintain, I always found the phosban type a PITA to service.

I've been using them for years and haven't tried anything else. The only reason I prefer the Phosban reactors is because you can hang them off the lip of the sump.

yes this is a good feature, I have my dual RO style reactor hanging on the wall.
