Took me a while to fine tune but sofar my wet skimmate is down to 0, and i havent gotten any stinky stuff yet. this tank was running a skimmer before i put this on and i did a water change at the same time. only thing is you have to really watch it to make sure that there is water flowing. really have to watch the amount of air.

Im thinking even of the water line was just around the body of the skimmer.. I'm not buying a different skimmer for the contest.. haha..

i think a lees would still be close to the used value of a rio !? i ran a medium lee's on my 10 before swithcing to the rio and i think it did a better job! time will tell if the skimmer attachment is good or bad. sofar im not diggin it too much. but for the contest it will get a good cleaning and such. having mounting issues right now in my clownfish 10.

Alrighty, I'm gonna dig up some old bones here... I'm looking at getting one of these bad boys for the tank in my room and I am a little concerned with the noise factor. Can anyone who has done the crazy glue mod comment if it makes it quiet enough that you'd stick it in your bedroom?

Much appreciated,

K
