LPS will do okay in high nutrient levels for certain amount of time but if you want them to keep amazing colors and have it spawn babies, I would still recommend some water changes.

Everyone is different in this hobby so if nice and easy is what you are looking for than all the power to you.

Your tank looks pretty good , as long as you enjoy it, that's all it matters.

My experience with LPS is totally adverse to yours but I do appreciate your opinion.

You may call my lps/zoa tank whatever you wish....it's just a mixed reef, like most peoples.

Thanks for your input.

I know a lot of you guys love your fuzzy sticks...been there, done that, have the T-Shirt.

The are so colorful but SO boring...the joy of them is really in the challenge it takes to keep them....which just got old to me.

What I like best about this tank is the layman who has no knowledge of aquaria is even more enthused with this kind of set up. I have friends come by who have seen all my tanks and think this one is more fun to watch.

More movement and lots more going on I guess.

Just to give you an example, that plate has grown 2-3mm and has also encrusted on the rock it's on.

There are a few new heads on each of the Euphyllia as well.

Proof is always in the pudding.

That's some thick pudding...🤔
Good on you for keeping your friends entertained. I like your current tank. Looks great, keep doing what you are doing, it's definitely working for you bud!

What kind of Sps tank did you keep, be cool to see some pics.
