Yeah I had been running a very fine sock up until today. I had to rinse it several times a day it was so fine. I'm now using a more forgiving sock so the water isn't splashing down from the sock tray when I wake up. I was vacuuming my sump into the fine sock and will continue to do this with that sock in hand as part of my maintenance. Even though there's plenty of flow through the sump it's a fairly wide tank and stuff settles out in there which makes sucking it out easy as hell.

This gives me alot of hope for my next build.... the one im working on now is in the middle of a room and thats that.... the room behind the tank is the best part of the system ive ever seen.... with its own sink no less.... Speachless bro
