Love that warpaint Scoly def next on my list:)

DAVE 06-16-2013 12:40 PM

Thanks for the compliments :)

I really like Scoly's, however there doesn't seem to me much demand for them I think due to there high price tag, but IMO they can have some of the most beautiful colours found in a reef. I also find they are not very difficult to keep, a weekly feeding of a good pellet/mysis shrimp is all that they require.

I think I am up to 16 now :D

Myka 06-16-2013 02:09 PM

I am a big fan of Scolys. :D

...He likes the feedings of mysis :)

Ouch!

Beautiful scoly's though, even if one has a mean house guest!

I'm late but got caught up on this amazing journal.

Can't wait till I can get a styro box from u :)

Myka 08-26-2013 02:40 AM

Perdy!

DAVE 08-26-2013 01:58 PM

Some chalice are more difficult then others. The ones that are collected in deep water are much harder to keep then the others. Aussie are typically a little harder then Indo.

That one in the photo is an Aussie Piece. I would consider it a medium difficulty for keeping corals.

Spot feedings always help, but I usually just broadcast feed the whole tank.

Proteus 09-03-2013 02:29 PM

Acros look amazing. Love that yellow passion

thmh 09-03-2013 02:49 PM

Good point.

I was lucky enough to be home for that shipment, been a while since we have seen a 100+ acan shipment in the GTA, so it was nice to be home.
