here is my 4.5 gallon pico mini reef, its been established for a year and one month, just thought id share my love of this picture with you all.
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51...G_0009-1-1.png inhabitants are a sexy shrimp, pom pom crab, a few snails and a zebra hermit crab. the tank is an aio design 10 inch glass cube, i use an ac70 as a refugium and use only chemi-pure elite and purigen for my filtration, since im not skimming i do a 30 percent water change per week and top up manually daily. its all light up nicely with a diy led fixture i put together for this tank using cree xr-e leds cool white and royal blue together and the colors are fully dimmable, it has a built in fan inside the housing and i use no optics on my leds at all being so close o the waters surface i chose not to p the par values that would be if i used optics, they are standard 120 degree lensed anyway. |
