If you find a Dart you will be very happy with it, almost silent with your other equipment running skimmer and such.

You might just want to cut that pump out. That mag will be so loud that you wont be able to think. I tried a mag 24 as a return and my wife almost left me. You will be able to here it from anywhere in your house.

I would if I had another option out there that would cost under $100 ATM I am tapped.

You might consider getting a Dart they push 3200 and the can be dialed back.
I run one on my closed loop and they are a great pump. You can get used ones for around $200 usually. Just make sure the shaft seals are good.
There was an ad for a Dart gold on here I think it was from Aquatics addiction his personal stuff that he had left over. Almost new if I remember right.

So the dart would be a good choice to replace this pump as soon as I get $$$ would you say .Again need an option that will not cost to much right now but once the 155 BF has been picked up I will have money to buy a new pump.

Maybe just run a couple of power heads until some money comes in if you have some. It will save some money.

I have more then one tank I am working on so it will get used some where and would still need to be fixed. And I don't want power heads in the new 8' DT even if it is temp solution.
