I've always liked zoos!! I re-aquired some awesome pink ones from Christy at the last meeting, and the 4 of them so far have become 8 or 9! I've just never seen really nice ones, or my tank would have tons of them.

I had no idea - you've gotta drop in next time you're in town, Brad.

I have some even Bob doesn't... mind you, I seem to be trying to kill them - some have closed up. My Alk test kit says 8.5 (Aquarium Pharm) but things are acting the way they did back in the last tank when it crept up to around 12 or 13...

If anyone has any extra zoo's they dont want, you can gladly donate them to OCDP's boring, beginner reef

Well donation is not my game, but as I said in PM's to you, I do have a few to sell.

I have looked over the zoos they have for sale and sent an email to the store owner asking the ones I am interested. I also inquired if he would do a group order for those in Edmonton. This is the page where there are pics of each specimen:

Prices are listed part way down the page.

Anyone interested in a group order? Payment is by PayPal.

Ok here is a question for the zoo heads.. how do zoo's do in high flow.. say like at the output of a tunze?

Steve,

IME, zoos do better in lower flow areas of the tank.

neither, they grow slower then green start polyps and I thought they might be a bit more resistant to flow because there more compact and sturdy (thought you got me there didn't ya  )

I have zoos in higher flow areas of my tank (nothing like tunze flow though) and they actually do better, less crud buildup between polyps
