Nice meeting you yesterday Walter :)

Loved the tour of your tanks! Impressive!

Thanks also for the beautiful frag (your interpretation of a frag... mine of a mini colony lol)

I have it mounted centre of my tank. I hope it keeps its deep rich color!

Great to know we're almost neighbors :tea:

Thanks, Janet. And after seeing your phone pics, for sure have to pay you a visit.

Btw what camera did you use for the shot of the pink milli? Nice shot!

Good camera needs to be my next investment.

Maybe I can get lessons from you :)

I use an Olympus TG-2. It can be used underwater and is how I take my coral pics. It has a very good low light lens and sensor as well as a super macro setting, which alllows you to capture a lot of detail up close. Also, it has several underwater settings for white balance and exposure, along with a manual white balance register setting which really helps take the blue (caused by the lights) out of our tank pics.

The current TG-3 model, which is similar, also has wifi, so is even better.

As with any photography, it takes a bit of patience and planning to set up a good pic, plus a lot of trial and error. I sometimes lack those qualities, so some of my pics are OK, some are not.

The TG-2 makes a good underwater video camera, too, as per my recent Maui snorkeling youtube thread.
