Incredible! I'm envious! I once had an addiction to Zoanthids, but alas a predator cured me. I'm working on becoming addicted again though, anyone want to help my addiction?:wink:

Couple of newer photos, unfortunately due to an ALK swing I have lost some of my favorite colonies. Weirdest thing, I haven't added any additives to the tank for about 2 weeks (I tested around the 5th with an ALK reading of 7) and 2 days ago I tested and it was at 13!!! Slowly lowering it down but I'm stumped on a reason :neutral:.

Question for y'all;
Ive looked quite extensively on the internet for pictures of these unreal zoo's we go bananas over in the wild and have come up pretty much empty handed. Anyone know of a good site with pics of zoo's in the wild. Or are my hunches correct that the really gorgeous zoa's do not come from the wild, and are in fact made from skittles and mermaid farts? (dont count out my hypothesis just yet) |

They're not my absolute favorite coral so I wouldnt call myself a zoaholic but I do have a few colonies.

Hi, My name is Kody. Im here to confront my problem. I have a mild to extreme obsession with zoas. *phew* ... that was difficult.. now to mend..
I love all that ive seen here.. I preview posted my post, only to realise.. WOW.. I need lower resolution.. 4 minutes later of loading I could see the top 1/16th of the picture. I will work to bring you my obbsession at a more reasonable hour for myself.... and share our pain together.. but awesome pics guys.. im jealous of some of the shots ive seen.. |
