wow you made one hell of a mess in your kitchen!!! i'm just curious... are you married?
things are looking great you scored a sweet tank and stand looking forward to more. |
Brett yes I am . She tolerates it.
J, anytime - once you can actually walk in my kitchen As for an update. I was having a disco party tonight - with my newly hung lights and then bam. Gfci tripped and tripped again and again... Moved to another gfci receptacle, they seem to be holding on so far. So back to the disco. Made a temporary echo tech house http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...ps155bb229.jpg And rerouted my emergency line as the sideways travel seemed to be impeding flow. Feeling kinda Canadian in the old sump tonight. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...ps3c7a6676.jpg |
Good for you lol... mine is less tolerant. Then again I've done smart things like tip a can of purple primer over in the middle of the kitchen floor.

Wow I must have overpaid for the anemone for you to afford all that stuff lol
About the gfic plug in are they side by side ? You should only have one on a circuit they will cancel each other out I believe but I am a carpenter not an electrician Looking good I am jealous of all the new toys you have there |
lastlight its funny you should mention, i did get some purple primer on my floor :) - i may have bribed her with promises of a kitchen table
evil both gfcis are on the same circuit but are wired independent of each other. so if one trips the other does not. the light made it through the night so i can only assume its a weak gfci on the one end. and the radions obviously have a engineering issue i am just really happy it happened right away. now i know to keep the lights on their own receptacle. last two days were my mexican vacation money spent . we were supposed to be in mexico this week. so im just bringing cancun to me :) |
Looking good.
Love your tyewrap plumbing supports, lol. |

Thanks everyone for the well wishes.
Got the muriatic / bleached rock in yesterday. ( which FYI I will never do again. Without a good place to dump acid . The price was about 120 bucks after the trash can baking soda to neutralize and acid. ). Could of got some Marco rocks for a similar price ) The live rock from the temporary tank went in today. Just have my main tank to go. Which I'm gonna play by ear. Since there was no Interest in my rsm 250. I think it will make a mighty fine quarantine tank.probably remove a few bulbs from the hood to keep temps down. Still need to build the top trim, get some rare earth magnets for the door and figure out the some kind of home for the wiring and auto top off |
