I have a pail of Kent Reef Carbon I'm finishing up, and then back to ROX. I use 250mL changed every 6 weeks on 90 gallon tank with 15 gallons in sump.

So from all the input it seems to be most people are running somewhat what is requimended for the size of there system. I must say that in just a day or so after adding the carbon my water is definitely clearer that it was before the carbon.

If there's that much of a difference, watch out that your corals don't get burned from the now more intense lighting.

It more by my eye that I see I difference in the clarity but I think most of my coral will be much happier with a little more light.

Don't underestimate clarity. If you can see the difference, I'm sure your corals can too. Adding carbon can be like putting in new halide bulbs. Sometimes the corals need to be shaded a bit and slowly get used to the more intense lighting. I do hope there isn't too much difference in the intensity of the light or you will get bleaching (or worse). I've seen it happen more than once!

So far I have noticed most of my coral that was looking poor really perk up over a couple day now. So far I am super happy with the out come.
