I decided to hook up a temporary sump until the I get a chance to build the new one. The skimmer will go in tonight.

Okay...I have to say, this seemed entirely too easy and relaxed. My stress level whenever I do any major tank work is off the charts!! And I didn't hand-build anything that could blow up and put 100G of water in my house!

Anyways....it looks great! You do really nice work with your stuff and it's no surprise that your inhabitants look so happy and healthy.

You did a fantastic job!! Is there any other livestock in there besides the seahorse? What kind of pony is it?

Thanks but I assure you stress and fatigue are high on my end to. For me the equipment side of things is fairly easy because I've done it so many times but the rock and livestock part is just brutal and it always is no matter how many times you do it.

Thanks! I believe it's a reidi also referred to as a Brazilian. He's in there with a fu-man-chu lionfish, a green spotted mandarin and an engineer goby.

Great tank sphelps! Just wondering if you had anything between the stand and the tank bottom?

ok, just a sugesstion.. put a stand or something under that fancy and pretty proflux. I would hate to see a post that you had a leak from the other valve and it fried it...

looks nice though, are you going to go with the balling pumps for the proflux?

Steve

Good advice, yes I will eventually be connecting up a bailing system to the profilux.

You'll love the balling/doser. Which balling salts are you going to be running?

Currently I'm dosing the FM balling salts with the Trace B solutions in my nano, and I couldn't be more impressed with the rock solid parameters and the growth I've seen in some of my SPS.
