Good choice! Concept is second to none in tank building and I have been very please with my tank and sump built by concept.

the customer service from Denny and concept is first rate. I built a stand for my new tank and after it flew across my garage I decided I should get a steel professionally built stand. Called Denny they are building me a stand rush order so the stand and tank can ship out together saving me some $$.
Very happy I chose them

I am a mechanic not a carpenter

Yep they're ; he's very nice and has lots of options to give us . Much better than the rush talk i had with Dereck from Miracle who makes you feel like you disturb him all the time. He's going to send pictures of my tank too thats cool.

My new plans concepts from Concept Aquariums; The refugium stand is 60" high because it feeds my Reef tank by gravity; and i have a shelf at 30" for my Qt and controllers

My refugium tank with its new C2c and the Herbie style overflow holes and a return.

My Reef tank stand, both stand are powder coated and 2"steel rods

My Reef tank has its c2c with teeth like the refugium and it will have a glass box on the right side to hide the Tunze wavebox 6015 pretty cool hein; it will added later in the next sketch.Another great option Concept Aquariums gave me.

An Update on the experience

Just saying that my experience with Concept was much better than with Miracles lol and we had things done. The set up was complex because it involved 2 tanks on different levels and with a single sump but also connected to each other by gravity, one feeding the other, the refugium, acting as a natural filter , producing macro algae with nutrients from both tanks, and also pods , all feeding the 150 G reef tank below .

Take a look at the finished project. Its has a theme by the way.

Custom made wavebox i asked them to do , they made the exact size to accomodate my Tunze powerhead.

And the perfect hole for it

A great coast to coast and an exterior overflow that don't take any tank room away.

The walls of your room should be metallic grey, and you need a life-size standee of Locutus of Borg guarding the tanks! Lol.

I love my miracles tank and wouldn't chose anyone else for a DT.

Miracles all the way.

wickedfrags 01-22-2014 06:02 PM

my $3,100 miracles tank came apart at the seams after 9 months, clearly I am not a fan of theirs!!!
