How's the bubble magus skimmer working for you? any problems yet?
I'm building a 225g + 30g frag tank + sump system and am debating between the skimmer you purchased or the next step down. But the smaller one is only rated for 215g. Doesn't seem to be a skimmer I that lineup for 215-315g. Do you recommend your skimmer for others? |

Wow Kien! Your tank is looking sweet! Its nice to get those cleanups done!
|
Update!
The tank is still sitting where I last left it ( in my living/dining room). It is still holding salty water at a specific gravity of 1.026. There are still fish in there. A few clams, corals, algae, the usual suspects.
That is all. Carry on. |
What is it they say pictures or there is no proof...... Lol nice to see ya lurking around again

Anyway, I came close to throwing in the towel as I had troubles keeping up with all of my tank's shenanigans. A nice layer of algae covered the glass and I let it sit like that all summer. I just topped up the ATO, auto feeder and cleaned skimmer (which by some miracle was still running). Although the corals were mostly all wiped out all of my fish seemed to be doin well so I kept it as a FOWLR. Well, I finally decided I had enough and made some time to reclaim the tank. Although I contemplated shutting it down I just couldn't bring myself to pulling that trigger. I would eventually miss it and probably end up pouring in more money to set up the exact same tank again. So, onward and upward! :-) |
haha, Yeah I hear that mang. This hobby is frustrating sometimes for sure.
Well good to see you back! I hope to see the amazing tanks I have seen in the past soon! |
