I used photoshop. It has three auto adjustments that I use on most of my coral pictures. Auto-Tone, Auto-Contrast and Auto-Color. Auto-Color is the one that removes bluish hues and brightens the colours. It is very natural result.

Most online photo storage include tools to auto balance a photo. Picasa/Google I use to great success, same as what I do with Photoshop but with only one click instead of three.

Whatever tools you already have should include some auto correcting features, give them a go!
Keith.

Update
fish

New additions Labouti wrasse, and a lineatus tomorrow.

Achilles is not doing well. I am not sure why? It always had a bit of ick but last couple of days he stopped eating and now one of his eye looks infected, not sure what it is but it almost look like pop eye but milder. It's glossy and enlarged. I will be devastated if my little buddy dies, he eats right off my hand. I suspect the eye has something to do with carbon... I change carbon last time and the same thing happened to a wrasse but it healed not without it losing its sight. I would love to get some input on this.

corals

All corals are doing fine. SPS are growing very well. I didn't think I would be saying this but I am running out of room real quick here.

equipment

AI mounting rails with an extra sol blue.

parameter
7.5-8.5 dkh
400 ca
1200-1350 mag

Even with rx6 duo and avast marine large kalk reactor I still can't seem to bump up my parameter but I guess its a good thing.

pics below with the new camera, still learning so don't judge me.

Pics are getting MUCH better! Use the tripod I gave you and you'll probably get crisper pics.

Bblinks 05-09-2012 05:24 PM

Thanks buddy, I got lazy last night and didn't use it. Still thinking about the ball mount for the tripod but at 400 bucks I just can't justify it. What have you gotten me into.

Reefie 05-09-2012 05:32 PM

Haha! Maybe it's payback for getting me into this expensive hobby. I have many more expensive hobbies that I can get you into.
