Has anybody else ordered this recently and haven't received their order? I ordered mine on May 20th. They were responding to my emails when I was inquiring about the unit, and have gone radio silent when inquiring about shipment. Tried the number on their website and it is out of order (Bell.. not in service)

I have not received mine as well. Ordered it on march 18th, he sent me a tracking number on the 20th of this month but it shows it has not been delivered yet.

Where does it say it is? Is it Canada Post? They are going on strike Thursday. If so, I am cancelling my order and buying locally.

Similar experience here, I ordered back in march and haven't received anything. It's been frustrating to deal with to say the least.

Pretty choked. April 18th and status of "initiated." no response to email and phone line doesn't work.

If you guys paid with CC you can call your company and they will reverse the charge without a problem. If you paid paypal you have to file a claim through them after 30 days. With the phone line dead and no responses through emails I would work on canceling payment. I feel bad for initially recommending them, I see that other forums have revoked his sponsorship.

BWI changed the status of my order 5 minutes after I started a resolution ticket on paypal. On the BWI site, it says refunded, I have yet to see this on paypal.

He's a real peice of #*@* absolutely no contact,ignores emails and pm's.I just excalated my paypal dispute to a claim.I ordered filters and resin on may16th..they were marked as awaiting shipment..still have nothing,not a word from him.As soon as i filed a dispute,order was marked as refunded,have yet to see a dime Lesson learned never deal with him again.

im on the same boat! As soon as I opened a resolution ticket over paypal, within 5 minutes he changed my order to "refunded" still haven't seen my money back. So much for supporting a vendor from the forums!

Well I've done 2 orders from him in the past, the last order was in March and while it took awhile (it was a pre-order) I did get it fairly quickly. There was a part missing and he said he would ship it the next day but I never got it and didn't get around to pursuing it.

Has anyone heard from him at all? I guess with his phone out theres not much means of communicating with him. He was on the board on June 1 so I'm sure he has an idea that people aren't happy with him.

I was just going to send you a pm,christy :) No he's in hiding and no emails or pm's from me or paypal have been responded too.Just recieved my filters and di from BRS,cost me more money,but only took a week.

Just wanted to give everybody an update. If you guys paid through paypal, start a ticket. It took about 2 weeks. But since this scammer didn't respond, I was covered under the paypal protection.. They refunded my money.

I think the forum should seriously think about removing his ads, so no one else will go through this BS

Just recieved an email this morning from paypal.They ruled in my favor and refunded my money.Absolutely no contact from this vendor..lesson learned.

Whats going on is that he IS there.. he IS checking email. But hes only responding to the emails for new sales, then goes silent after orders have been made.

I sent multiple emails.. no response. Then I started a resolution ticket, then my status on his website changed to "refunded" almost instantly. I sent another email to resolve the matter.. no response. 2 weeks later, Paypal rules in my favor.

Just horrible business practices....

Agreed this is unfortunate. Too bad since I purchased my system from this vendor several years ago and had no problem, so have also mentioned him as a possible source in a few threads. Sometimes bad things happen with a business, but you'd think he could provide some explanation as to what the problem is. He has to know this isn't helping his business.

This is too bad. I ordered my unit last fall and it came, was banged up a bit from shipping and he replaced the metal mounting bracket for me. I was happy with the transaction.

Unit works great!. Maybe he's had some kind of family issue? But he should really keep his customers updated if this is the case...

Update: According to one of the GTA forums, he's really busy in the summer with Irrigation. So maybe this explains the slow/lack of responses...

yeah he did the same thing with me, ordered some fittings would not give me a tracking #, 4-5 pm's asking for the tracking # he just kept blaming the supplier not giving it to him. after about a month paypal sent me an email with a refund. he didnt even get back to me to tell me anything.

very disappointed. I hope to never see him again selling on canreef

I can't wait to see Tyler try and come back in the winter time when his irrigation work "dries" up.

What kind of excuses are we going to hear then?

Thankfully after a few weeks of no progress on my order I did a claim on paypal and BWI reversed my money a few hours after the claim went in.

BWI should be removed from the site immediately! By far the worst business I have ever dealt with.

Got an e-mail from paypal with my refund in the next 5days.Feel better now ive got my money back....:lol:
