Some neon green trumpet coral frags for $5 for smaller ones and $10 for larger ones. Also some superman monti, some really nice Marsall Islands blue bottlebrush acro and maybe one frag of neon green digi and one frag of pink milli. I may also bring a couple of frags of toxic cyphastrea and meteor shower cyphastrea.

oh, I'd like some of both cyphastrea as well as red base pink polyp monti. I may need a new tank after this ....

Ron99 06-24-2010 11:01 PM

Anybody coming to the swap want a mediumish hermit crab for free? It's a yellow tip hermit that is full grown and in a 1.5 to 2" shell. It's just to big for my tank.

Milad 06-25-2010 06:25 AM

gimme it ron!!

Jason McK 06-25-2010 06:28 AM

OK So Auction Items are closed But don't let that hold you back from selling Items. As posted in the first post. This is a Silent Action and Swap meet. This means if you want to sell something you don't have to be in the auction to sell it. Bring it with you, You may just walk away with some Cash

J

PS> Auction Items and Times will be posted Tomorrow evening

Hello,

I am looking forward to the meet tomorrow. I have some pulsing xenia that I need to get rid of. Would anyone be interested in a trade if I brought it with me?

-John

fkshiu 06-27-2010 05:27 AM

I don't see my joker favia there. Was I too late to make the list?

ScubaSteve 06-27-2010 07:21 AM

Well folks, I won't be able to attend tomorrow anymore. Someone just decided to hit-n-run my car tonight on the way home, so I'm going to dealing with this BS tomorrow.

Really I was only coming to grab a frag of Anthony's awesome purple bonsai and one other nice frag for the new tank. If someone can take pity on this cursed soul, could you save me a frag?

SeaHorse_Fanatic 06-27-2010 09:28 AM

I'll save you a frag or if they all sell, then I'll make you a fresh one when you can make it over here.

SeaHorse_Fanatic 06-27-2010 09:46 AM

So, after fragging for the last month, I will have available:

Purple bonsai/purple plasma/bali tricolour frags
Deep red chalice frags
Photosynthetic gorg. frags (purple, purple whip & orange rod) - have had for over a year in captivity now, so very hardy for gorgs.
Neon green zoas
Neon orange zoas
Duncans (frags & small colonies)
Green hammers (frags & small colonies)
Green Favia frags
Green Pipe Organ
3 Aussie War Coral (Neon orange-red with pastel baby-blue/green centers).
Blue-Green trumpet coral (small colony).
Purple Rhodactis indica mushroom colony (4 shrooms)
Med. toadstool with long polyps (if anybody is interested).

The vast majority of these have been aquacultured, either in my tank or another local reefers' tank, so should be very hardy.

See you all in the morning/early afternoon.

Yard has been prepped.

Deck is stained.

4 patio tables & 1 huge table & 2 small "tables" are set up with chairs for the sellers. The huge table can easily handle 3 sellers but is on the lawn & not on the covered deck.

2 bbqs prepped & ready for firing.

Malaysian curry chicken with potatoes & eggs is cooked & soaking up the flavours.

Cutlery, plates, paper towels, chips, salsa ready.

Wife & possibly parents set to help host/cook.

Seating for 30+ crazed reefers is all set.

Now if someone can bring us some good weather, we're golden.

SeaHorse_Fanatic 06-27-2010 10:23 AM

For those who have never been or can't remember how to get here, Mapquest or Googlemap it.

The address again is:

6745 Lakeview Ave, Burnaby
604-868-5553 or 604-437-6172

I have stacked several salt buckets next to my driveway by the street so reefers can spot the place.

Come around the right side of the four-plex to get to my backyard where the swap meet will be taking place.

Well its almost 3:30am so good night & see you all here tomorrow. Can't promise that the host will be bright eyed or bushy tailed though.

TheKid 06-27-2010 10:53 AM

I'm probably gonna be the youngest there at 15:mrgreen: lol

Yes, thanks for the donations. That was awesome.

Thanks all the people who came and participated in another fun local reefing event. Irene asks "why just once a year?" so I guess she had a good, if busy, time.

Thank you Jason for organizing this event & keeping the silent auction on track.

My family & I had a great time and will be happy to host future Reef Network events.

Maybe a summer bbq?

Anthony

Milad 06-28-2010 05:56 AM

Would it be wrong if we had cedar plank salmon at the BBQ?

SeaHorse_Fanatic 06-28-2010 07:48 AM

I make cedar plank salmon all the time in the summer. Cedar plank gem tang would be wrong though:wink:
