I go to SFU and work downtown and J&L is on my way back home every single day. I suck at resisting temptation. hey off topic, did anyone else see those two ribbon eels they had (dunno if they're still there)? man those things were sexy.

I appreciate the feedback and intent to order ;)
In other news! I have a created a new thread, that I have made sticky (I'm thinking this will be better), that we will continue to post new updates in. Please refer to "Up & Coming ..." in our vendor forum for further updates. Cheers! Jeff J&L Aquatics |

wouldn't advise that - just PM Jeff and I'm sure he'll take care of things in a reasonable manner.

yeah...... lets keep the thread on track.
Cheers, Vic |
Wow, I feel pretty jiped now. I've had two bad experiences, and nothing was done to rectify those issues. The best I was offered was a free calender for getting a damaged and scratched tank, after I specifically asked they check the tank before shipping. But I will admit I have had good service on other orders!
And what the heck, I didn't get a free t-shirt? I've spent at least $2000+ with J&L via internet :( |

I didn't even know they had t-shirts let alone free ones  |
I'm with ya Marie...I think in the last 2 months I have spent $2000.00+ with the new lights....ugh....hey I think we deserve more than a Tshirt but an entire outfit!

I don't know where this free T-shirt thing came from? I've never heard of it before! LOL
The company loves to hear individual feedback, but it will be of more value if spoken directly to them. Discussing it here will just keep this thread going on forever, wherein it will just get mixed up among other posts. If anyone has anything to say then I recommend an email or phone call to the company. Cheers -Diana |

How about a J&L t shirt with some equipment sponsors names on the back who will cover the costs of the shirts. Then sell them for 10 bucks and donate the money to some fish/reef/wildlife fund [ pro reefer of course] In order to educate the public of what exists in the oceans and how this can be lost due to pollution and global warming. Most people don't have a clue as to what's out there. How many of us have had people over and looked at our tanks and asked ''Is that real?'' Most people probably pay at least $ 10 for a plain t shirt anyways. And for those that want a complete outfit, they can buy 2 and turn one upside down and wear them as shorts.
