Isn't he cute!

I got shots of those two little ones as well, we were around while they were feeding them, cute lil' buggers!

Yep, the bear fence is in place for black bears. There was a guy eaten about 5 years back in between shacks, so ever since then they have been proactive.... maybe you could argue reactive LOL?

That fence makes them jump a good two feet when their nose slaps into the wire.

Clark, nice shots! That orca shot is nice. What lens were you using for the Bald eagles?

Lorenz0, that must be fun packing that thing full for a camping trip!

Cheers,

Scott

In keeping with the mountain theme, although a little more wintery since Silver Star Mountain received it's first dusting of snow today.. Leaping off the loo at Icefall Lodge last winter.

Still, these are way nicer pics than I've ever been able to get of fireworks. Canada Day at Diefenbaker Park, right?

Oh, and the two sunset pics that you posted earlier are now gracing my desktop  And they are gorgeous.

Awww, I missed the first celebration at River Landing. You know, they were building that area for almost the whole time I lived in Saskatoon. Of course, when I move back home, they have to finish everything and celebrate!

Mind you, I moved back a year ago

If the water had been just a little calmer... and light a little stronger - this would have been an awesome reflection shot (playing with it in PS to see if I can create the picture I couldn't take)

Pepper's always good for a pretty picture; she was frustrated she couldn't figure out how to swim out to us on the air-mattress... Does it show?
